August Kindness Assembly

The cubs got to attend their first big assembly of the year this morning filled with music, videos, confetti cannons, and beach balls surfing across the crowd. This year's theme is "Kindness," and our first keyword of the year is "Uplift." Merriam-Webster defines the word "uplift" as "to lift up; to cause to rise above adjacent areas; to improve the spiritual, social, or intellectual condition of." We certainly witnessed a room full of lifted spirits today. We will have more assemblies this year under the overall theme of “kindness” while focusing on a new keyword each time. Help us keep up the momentum by discussing ways to be kind with your children.
